The Lodge Kopanina is part of the network of services provided by SUNDISK Family (see www.sundiskfamily.cz). Inside the lodge you can find a small information centre, where we sell postcards, wander cards and other similar materials connected with tourism. During the reconstruction in May 2015 were put in function first two rooms, sanitary facilities and the hall, so you can visit Kopanina in summer holiday of 2015.

The lodge is open every day since June 2015! You can refresh yourself here in the morning, before setting out for your trip, or in the afternoon or evening, after you return from your cycling trip in the Bohemian Paradise or Jizera Mountains. We offer homemade soups, hot and cold snacks and sundaes made of eight types of ice-cream.

The main attraction for season 2015 is definitely scooters. Our scooter and boat rental SUNDISK Family, which had been till now operating along the banks of the Jizera and Nisa Rivers, has gained an ideal starting point for the downhill on scooters! From the top of the hill Kopanina you can choose from seven different routes to Malá Skála, Dolánky or Rychnov. All the places are connected by the railway, many trail blazes and also our novelty – nine seater Volkswagen Transporter from Klokočka car company, by which we will gladly take you where needed.

The downhill on scooters is suitable both for adrenaline enthusiasts (the paths in woods, pebble gravel) and families with small children (via the asphalt roads with nearly no traffic, past the Frýdštejn castle to Bartošova pec and Voděrady). The wonderful panoramas of the Bohemian Paradise, Kozákov, castles and rock cities…all those can be found and seen while going on scooter from Kopanina to Malá Skála or Dolánky.

In the following years, we would like to restore the traditional cuisine in Kopanina and reconstruct the first floor and attic to guest house. The garden in Kopanina and view from the wide windows are so romantic, that it would be a pity not to open them up for you – our visitors.
